Melanie is a Uruguayan vocalist and musician based in Manhattan since 2015 who plays regularly around the city. I graduated from The City College of New York in 2022 and hold a B. Mus in Jazz Vocal Performance.
Recent venues she performed include: Ornithology Jazz Club, The Ivy Room, Melody's Piano Bar, Coby Club, Ned Nomad, Vue 180, Canary Club, Hermana NYC, Club Groove, as well as performances at the National Jazz Museum in Harlem. She is a a Sofar Sounds Artist and performs original music at their pop-up shows regularly. Her current repertoire consists of traditional boleros, tangos, Brazilian Nova music, as well as jazz standards, combined with elements of storytelling- bringing in a unique interpretation of poetry and lyrics through songs
